Oppositionalism  Let  me start by telling a short story. One day Mr Deshmukh was going back home in his car. Everyone was walking in the left lane of the road only one person, Mr Pandit was walking on the opposite side of the road. Next day when Mr Deshmukh was again going back home, again everyone was walking on the left side of the road except Mr Pandit. Mr Deshmukh asks Mr Pandit "Why are you always walking in the opposite direction". Mr Pandit replied,  "Sorry sir, but I am a leader of the opposition, I am used to opposing everything". There is a famous line "People who live in glass house should never throw stones at other", but in politics "People who live in a glasshouse must throw stones at other". Sino-Indian war (1962) The simplest way to explain India China war or 1962 can be explain by a story of a 15 year old girl who is writing is writing a tough exam without any preparation on the other hand her classmate has prepared for this examination since months moreover her classmate has already given similar examinations in the past and has passed with distinction.The only reason that girl is writing that exam is because someone forced her to. The most funny part is that  for some reason the girl refused to even see the questions printed on the back side of the paper because she was afraid that other classmate will know that question paper is of two pages. In this story the the 15 year old girl is India, her classmate is China and the exam is Indo-China war (1962). China has already fought and won the civil war in 1950 on the other hand Indian army was unexperienced. Let’s look back in the history: India got independence from British on 15th August 1947. During that time (1927-1950) China was going through a civil war. The civil was was fought between  Nationalist  and  commun ist . Communist won and took over the control over China. The  nationalist  formed their own country named  “Republic of China “ commonly known as “ Taiwan ”. Western world opposed the China as USA,UK were not interested in a new communist power.  Jawaharlal Nehru under his ambition of  becoming a world leader  supported China on international stage. Initially India never shared any border with China  . Till 1951 Tibet was an autonomous state which used to act as a  buffer  between India and China.
